Hey! I’m Jess, I Started This Blog In late 2023 As a Creative Means Of Chronicling And Expressing My Travels, Ideas, Inspirations And Daydreams.

I am a 37 year old wife and mother of two. I met my firefighter husband, Jordan while working in the ER as a registered nurse in 2014. My family is complete with a eleven year old daughter Jordyn, five year old son Blake, and our geriatric piti named Roxi. I am an avid reader, spending one night a month with my book besties while we share wine over the latest fantasy novel.

I have been a nurse for 14 years, the last five as a Nurse Practitioner. I always thought I would become a travel nurse, but ultimately started a family instead. Early on in my marriage, while budgeting we agreed we would prioritize adventure & making memories. We have been blessed so far to have careers that allow for this, though navigating a 9-5 is a forever burden.

When I first thought of starting a blog, it was really a means to find a way to better document my experiences. I find that I have thousands of photos stored on my iPhone only for the stories behind them to evaporate from my mind over time. What if I documented all the details, the 20th century version of a diary so to speak, so that I may relive each trip over and over?

Then it occurred to me… I love to travel, I love to plan to travel, I love spending hours and hours planning trips that are 5 years out, 10 years out, or just in my dreams… so why not share all my countless hours of work with my friends!
